The Foothills Bicycle Club located in Yuma, Az. is dedicated to keeping bicycling as a safe and healthy sport in the Southwest.


The Foothills bicycle club is a very informal club. We do not have officers. We depend upon those that have the time and interest to carry it along. Volunteers are always available when needed.


The following are our usual rides


Sunday and Tuesdays each week

Short and slow rides

Length of ride is around 25 miles - Speed is usually around 13 to 15 mph average.


Thursday and Saturday

A bit faster and longer. Ride length between 20 to 50

miles. Speed average at 17 mph plus






The following are the normal start times for our winter season.


8 am Sept-Nov

9 am Nov

10 am Dec-Feb

9 am Mar-May


Winter rides normally start at the new library in the foothills.


Summer start times are dictated by those riders remaining in Yuma for the summer

Starting location

13226 E. South Frontage Rd. Yuma, Az 85367. Take Exit 14 off Interstate 8. Go South on Foothills Blvd. Turn left on South Frontage Road. The library is located next to the Sheriff's Substation.
